when a deaf boy falls in love with a blind girl…

at that moment
I met you
but you could not see my fortune
I was addicted to your mist
I wish I could be your eyes
to see my sincere heart
I wish I could tell you
how beautiful you were

but I was not able to
you and me
at the opposite coasts of a sea

suddenly
you caught me by hand
how thrilled I was
you were telling me that
‘I heard your heart beating’

grey steps of Tai Po Tsai
an old lady seated with silvery hair
I walk straight by
she gives me a big smile
with a missing teeth

piss into grass

drink a bit too much
I piss into a piece of grass
flowers laugh at me
don’t you feel ashamed as an adult
that’s because you can’t I say

wandering in the fog
I look for the sea around campus
mysterious roads ahead
but I am not to be lost
the song of waves catches my breath

This River a Goddess Shed/ 河之女神 by Tim Callahan

This river a goddess shed
in bitter tears
for her home forever lost.
Walk down its stony banks
as it plunges and swirls
in falls and cataracts.

Sip its cool waters
from placid pools.
drink deeply
and slake your thirst.
Her grief is your sustenance.

The wayfarer followed the river’s course
ever downward
through ferny forests and rising mists
until at last the divine sorrow
was swallowed
in the gray waves of a surging sea.

an unexpected bus

an unexpected bus
takes me to the sea
instead of shopping malls
I pick up
a brown constellation shell
what a tiny car park
with the broken wall
when did you start the meeting
my little coral
I become dizzy
In a spiral fall
